Cassadaga

The sixth full-length release from Bright Eyes draws its title from a small town in central Florida known for its community of psychics.  Where the town of Cassadaga is often visited in order to "commune with the dead", the album Cassadaga is a filled with ruminations on life, love, history, death and the afterlife.

   At times sprawling, the music is a mesmerising mix of country swagger, folk, and psychadelic atmospherics.  The album art also falls in line with the overall concept and the only way to see what is on the 5 flaps of the cd case is with the "Spectral Decoder" included inside.
