#flight_of_the_conchords_the_complete_first_season I also love this show thanks to Erik who suggested I check it out. I was a bit skeptical at first, but after episode 1 or 2 I was hooked, it is the kind of wacky retarded yet clever comedy that I indeed appreciate. I was not a fan of their breaking into songs either, but I now that I have re-watched the entire 1st season, I find myself singing parts of their songs and laughing to myself like a complete nut job sometimes.

#flight_of_the_conchords_the_complete_first_season The first 6 episodes are better than the last 6 in the season. I think it's because they used up all of their A material in the early episodes. If you've seen any FOTC live material it's all used up by the 5 or 6th episode. Boom, Boom. Business Time. The Most Beautiful Girl in the Room, etc.

#flight_of_the_conchords_the_complete_first_season I fell in love with this show after the first 5 minutes, but after the 5th and 6th consecutive episode the humor just started to get tired. It's just the same kind of jokes over and over again. While hilarious, you can have too much of a good thing. Maybe if I go back to it and watch them again, this time not in such a short timespan I won't get burned out so quickly.
The songs are still incredible.
