If I Did It

Released September, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Proceeds go to Goldman family and the Ron Goldman foundation. It is all about money. Not Ron. The title of this book is high comedy.

The Cons:In bad taste. EASILY available for free from the Internet. O.J. Simpson might be the worst guy ever for agreeing to do this book.

If I Did It is a book written by O.J. Simpson about how he, hypothetically, would've killed his ex-wife Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. This was a hugely publicized criminal case in which the former NFL star was acquitted, but subseqently was found financially liable in a civil wrongful death trial.

novstorm: #if_i_did_it One minute he didn't want the book published and then when he found out he would make the money off it Goldman ran for the court room. It isn't weird the man wants money and he doesn't care how he gets it even using his dead child to get it. He is as bad as OJ. Sep 18, 07

Amanie: #if_i_did_it I agree with Erik, although I guess they figure they might as well. Or maybe it's just to rub it in because it was OJ's intention to make money and now the Goldman's are getting it instead of him. Sep 14, 07

Erik: #if_i_did_it I admit, I'm not too polarized on my opinion. I just feel that it seems a little strange to be receiving proceeds from the "how i murdered your family member" book. It's definitely better that the Goldman's are getting the money over OJ, that's for sure, but it's still a little weird in my eyes. Sep 14, 07

V-Dawg: #if_i_did_it Isn't 'for profit' acceptable as the profits are going to the victim's family???

While I wouldn't go out of my way to find a copy, if one happened to be in front of me, I admit I would flip through it. Sep 14, 07

Erik: #if_i_did_it I think this book is in bad taste. Bad taste for OJ to write it, and bad taste to release it to the public for profit. Sep 13, 07
