Most of this entire album was written, recorded, produced, and every instrument played by one man--Adam Kalviainen. The array of instruments employed in the recordings is astounding--from air organ to juice harp--but it is the guitar work that truly stands out. There are a few covers from the Tea Party, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Death Cab for Cutie, but it is the original songs that prove to be the strongest. Checkout standout songs such as, "Ode to Mummuu" and "Nothing Lasts Forever" for a glimpse through the keyhole to unleash the songs of AK.
As a bonus, demos from AK's band, ROTARY RED, are included at the end of the CD. These 6 songs straight out rock big time! What ever happened to Rotary Red....these guys kick ass! Heavy guitar, bass, and drums...emphasized by the thrashing vocals by Tony D make these demos a MUST HEAR!
