This is Kristin Hamel's second book, after her debut novel How to Sleep with a Movie Star. The book follows Harper Roberts on her quest to find true love and true happiness. In the same vein as other romantic comedy fare such as How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Harper, a successful patent lawyer, creates her own experiment to snag a guy.

Forgoing her actual smart and intelligent self, she plays the stereotypical dumb blonde to see if that will garner more success with the opposite sex.
